Ok so what is so special about the Asus Eee PC Black 1000 laptop? Well personally I would put this close to the MSI Wind, Asus wanted something that could compete if you ask me and they have it right here.

Basically spec wise it is similar with a 1,024 x 600, LED backlit screen and a 10-inch LCD, the keyboard is very comfortable to use as well which is the same as the Wind.

The Asus Eee PC 1000 is 266mm across and weighs 1.33kg which is basically bigger than the 901 and heavier also, key features include 1.6GHz Intel Atom Processor, Shock proof SSD, Up to 8 hours of battery life, Linux OS, 1GB DDR2 and 40GB SSD.
