There are new details of the release and prices for Asus Eee PC laptop for the US, the details are as follows. We found via eeeuser.com forum that there will be 3 models of the Eee PC and two of those will ship to the United States in late September, there will be the 7 inch display model with 2GB of storage built-in WiFi and 512MB or memory for $269-$299.

There will also be the a $369-399 model which bumps the storage to 4GB, both of these models will be in either white or black which is your choice, the bad news is that the highly anticipated $200 model will NOT be coming to North America. You must be aware none of this is actually official to Asus makes a statement, but we say it probably will be.
