Eee PC laptops
Ok so it is out of the bag that Asus have massive expectations for their low cost Eee PC laptops, but news in thanks to Daily Tech Asus is being even more specific on the matter. The new expectations from Asus are that they expect to ship around 3.8 million Eee PC laptops next fiscal year.

So what does this mean then? Well lets put it this way, HP who are currently ahead of the laptop pile shipped a massive 6.2 million laptops total in the last quarter, whilst Apple sold around 1.4 million in the same time period, so given Asus the mark to be bang in the middle.

What is funny are HP and Apple sold different models to come up with these selling numbers whereas Asus are talking about one particular model which means this will put Asus at the top of the Laptop pile.

Daily Tech reports that maybe some of those 3.8 million laptops will be shipping with Windows.
