Asus have yet pulled another gem out of the bag which we say you have to sit back and read on further for more exciting reading, Asus are adding a sexy HD DVD drive to this new machine the Asus W2P it is basically and updated Asus W2 but will have more punch to say the least. You laptop lovers are just loving this aren’t you?

They are not only adding Core 2 Duo mobile microprocessors but they are also going to be adding ATI’s new Mobility Radeon X1700 chip and an HD DVD drive with HDMI output.

The W2P will have Windows XP Media center plus a digital TV tuner and Dolby sound system punching through 4 speakers and sub woofer, you will get DDCP support, three-flavor WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 and up to 2GB of SDRAM you will also be pleased to see a range of Merom Core 2 Duo chips including both 4MB L2 and 2MB L2 cache versions.
