Ok now the errors are coming in on the Apple MacBook Air, there is the error with USB 3G modems do not fit this laptop (Read here), and now there is another problem it seems.

According to the source below, many of you yes you the buyers should know that many people have asked the question “will the external optical drive even work with one of my other laptops or desktops? Well the answer is NO my friends.

It seems that regular USB will not support the power draw that the optical drive needs, the source below carries on to say it was evident as they plugged the SuperDrive into a stock MacBook Pro and it came up bupkis.

And get this apparently it would not allow them to insert a disk without forcing down the drives maw, and yes it does work fine on the Mac Air.

On a personal note, why the hell would you want more than one machine anyway, one is ample.
