Dell Latitude XT tablet is official, and one sexy laptop

Everyone’s been hearing about the illusive Dell Latitude since way back as far as 2004, and Dell did promise it for 2007 which is very nearly at an end. What has taken them so long is anyone’s guess, but it is difficult to deny this tablet PC has certain appeal.So you got to give credit where it’s due, because along with the M1330 the latitude XT is an extremely stylish and sexy looking piece of equipment, and with the addition of a capacitive touch-screen it will blow your minds.
However, even for the most basic option, Dell seem to have priced the latitude XT well out of the game at $2500. So in case you would like to know, here are the specs on the Dell latitude XT.
· 12.1-inch WXGA (1280 x 800) in CCFL (”outdoor display,” up to 400cd/m2) and LED backlight options
· Capacitive touchscreen(!!) with palm detection, and active digitizer.
· ATI Radeon X1250 UMA Graphics
· Intel Core 2 Solo or Duo ULV at 1.06 and 1.2GHz, respectively
· Up to 3GB memory, runs Vista Ultimate or Business
