Quicker than expected, the new Eee PC 1000H from Asus is now on sale in Taiwan, and so soon after it was introduced at Computex, although as yet it isn’t know if the supplier has stock and if so how many, but nevertheless it is still listed as being up for sale for those on that side of the world.

The particular model on sale incorporates an Atom N270 processor and runs on Windows XP and has a 10 inch display, 1GB RAM and 80GB hard drive, 3 USB ports, Bluetooth, WiFi, 1.3 megapixel webcam and microSD card slot.

The Eee Pc 1000H measures 226 x 191 x 38mm with a weight of 1.45kg; Asus are asking NT$18,988 for this laptop which is roughly $625 US.
