Elonex One Cheap laptop in UK for £100: Beat that then Asus

Ok there are many laptops out there trying to be the cheapest on the market, but what is the cheapest laptop around? This is a question many want answering seeing as many companies are competing with each other.
Ok for example we have had news on the Eee PC, OLPC and the Cloudbook and so forth but it seems we have the cheapest of the lot. How does £100 sound to you people?
Welcome to the world of Elonex, Elonex are planning on bringing to the UK a £100 laptop on February 28th at The Education Show in Birmingham, England which is great news and what we have to say students will just love, we know that Elonex has education sales on their mind and we believe it will be a massive success if all goes to plan.
The Elonex One will also be up for grabs business users, adult learners and those who are always mobile. The One will weigh around 2.2 pounds and some of the features include a 7-inch screen, 1GB of flash memory, three hour battery and will run on Linux.
There will be a more expensive model for £120 that will have double the memory of 2GB plus it will also have Bluetooth. Both models will have access to a service called ONEunion which will feature music for download, artwork and opportunities to get your own content added to the club as well as a range of competitions.

but im worried i wont be able to get one.
where will they be sold?
and will they be sold to the public at shops? or just online?

Great for chucking in any old bag without worrying about it. Longer battery life and a memory card slot would have topped it off.
Still, I’m tempted.

Yes, just go to Elonex’s website and pre-order one for a £10 deposit. all 200,000 units produced so far have been preordered which means it’s gonna be months before you get yours!..
