Announcements are always good especially when they are from the big companies, Gateway have just announced new P Series laptops & GT-series desktop PC. The P-Series is the slightly high end laptop line, the Gateway P-6801 laptop which will cost around $800 and the Gateway P-6822 laptop for around $950, now to the desktop; the Gateway GT5628 PC will be around $950.

Now you know the prices what kind of features do they boast? Well the Gateway P-6801 model laptop features 1.46GHz Pentium dual-core processor plus a 160GB hard drive and the P-6822 has the 1.5GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 1.3 megapixel webcam (built in) plus a 250GB hard drive. Both of these laptop models have a 17 inch 1440 x 900 display and Intel X3100 graphics.

Now let us move onto the Gateway GT5628 desktop pc, this will boast Intel’s G33 chipset which has a very fast 2.4GHz Core 2 Quad processor plus, 3GB of RAM, GeForce 8500 GT graphics, 500GB hard drive.

The 2 laptops and desktop are set for release on the 14th October 2007.
