There seems to have been quite a few new HP desktops lately, and now Hp are giving us news on the laptop front. There’s the tx2000 12.1 inch convertible tablet for starters which probably replaces the tx1000. The Hp tx2000 has QuickPlay software with a webcam and integrated microphone, but apart from that Hp aren’t forthcoming.
Then there is Hp’s Pavilion HDX, soon to be available with 512MB NVDIA GeForce 8800M GTS graphics, a 20.1 inch WUXGA XHD ultra-Brightview display, four Altec Lansing speakers with built-in subwoofer, Blu-ray/HD DVD support, optional Core 2 Extreme processor, hybrid analog/digital TV tuner, an aSATA port, and room for two HDDs and media remote.
Price wise, you can expect the HP Pavilion HDX shipping later this month will start at around $1.999 while the tx2000 will ship as CES begins for $1.299.
