HP ready two HDX notebooks X16 and X18

HP has announced a new pair of HDX notebooks, the HP X16 and the HP X18, and most powerful notebooks they do seem to be.
First up we have the X16 which features a 16 inch 1,366 x 768 resolution display, NVIDIA’s 512MB GeForce 9600 GT, 4GB of DDR2 RAM, 2.26GHz Core 2 Duo P8400 CPU, 320GB 5,400RPM hard drive, built-in WiFi / Bluetooth, and dual-layer SuperMulti optical drive.
Next is the beastly X18, and one for you to drool over with its 18 inch 1,920 x 1,080 display, Blu-ray reader, twin 250GB HDDs. While both X units offer the full range of other features such as four USB 2.0 sockets, HDMI / VGA, multicard reader, integrated Altec Lansing speakers, ExpressCard slot.
Both notebooks become available later this month with the X16 starting at $1,249 and the X18 starting at $1,549.
