We have some great news for those wanting the Asus Eee PC 900 UMPC laptop, just in case you do not know the Asus Eee PC 900 will have the same processor as what is found in the 701 which is a 900MHz Celeron M, the Eee PC 900 will also feature two different flash storage units with 4GB on the motherboard and 8GB SSD in the PCIe slot for XP versions and a 16GB unit for Linux models.

You must remember that the dual storage system will allow you to upgrade with ease, both models will be priced at around $500 - $650, the shipping dates are as follows; UK release will be the end of April, Hong Kong 15th Apr (yesterday), France 17th Apr, Taiwan 21st Apr, Australia End Apr or early May, Germany & Italy May as well.

We have no release dates for America as of yet, the question is “Is the Asus Eee PC 900 UMPC the one for you? I mean it only has the 900MHz Celeron M which could have been a little better, but as they say the proof is in the pudding if this will be a good little laptop to buy.
