Over on JR.com it looks like the Lenovo Ideapad U110 notebook will be available pretty soon in America with a price tag of $1,999. The ultraportable laptop is listed as “coming soon” which is good news, we know we cover the UK most of the time so we thought we would give some good news to our good American friends.

The Lenovo Ideapad U110 Notebook will be available in either red or black versions,model names will be the U110B for the black obviously and U110R for the red one.

So for $1,999 what will you be getting, well features include an 11.1-inch WXGA display, 3GB of RAM, 120GB hard drive and a 1.6GHz Core 2 Duo L7500 processor. This notebook however does not come with a built-in optical drive of any sort.
