New Update: Remember when we gave you MSI Wind Official Specifications but no price or dates (See Here) well now we have it all for you as promised. The MSI Wind is now official with pricing and availability.

The MSI Wind laptop is a little cheaper than we thought it would be, even though there are 8.9-inch and 10-inch versions worldwide USA will only get the 10-inch in both Linux and XP starting June 3rd. The SuSE version will include 512MB of RAM, 1.6GHz Atom, 80GB hard drive, 3-cell battery with 2.5 hours of use all for $399.

The XP version on the other hand will have 1GB of RAM, larger 6-cell battery good for 5.5 hours and Bluetooth for $549, oh there will also be a $500 base XP edition as well but sorry we have no details on that just yet. Oh ASUS are you getting worried that MSI is on the street.
