MSI (Micro-Star International) have finally given us the official specifications on the MSI Wind laptop, the announcement on the Wind series notebooks will be competing against the likes of the Asustek Eee PC which is great in the way of low-cost laptops for the masses.

The MSI Wind will come with 8.9 inch displays or 10 inch displays options featuring LED backlight technology and a resolution of 1024×600, the laptops will be 1kg; other specs include a 2.5-inch hard drive with 80GB of storage.

They will also include Windows XP, MSI have not yet offered a Linux-based version so far. So they have given us some specs but no dates or prices which is a pain in the butt, we say prices will be around 299-699 Euros.
