NEC to introduce new LL550KG L series: LaVie laptops with subdued color options

Remember when NEC experimented with those laptops with wacky paint jobs, well it seems like they have dialed things back a bit with their new L series LaVie laptops. These notebooks have a more subtly color finish, but if you want one of these NEC laptops with these new paint jobs then you will have to purchase one of the low-end budget laptops, the LL550KG model.
This NEC notebook comes with the Sempron 3400+ processor; you get 1GB of RAM and a 120GB hard drive. There is a DVD re-writer, a 15.4-inch screen and slots for FeliCa cards and also ExpressCards, these are the new kind of memory cards that are starting to come out of Japan.
The price for these new NEC LL550KG L series LaVie laptops are about £800
