Sony unveiled their new line up of laptops which will have with Blu-ray Disc® technology for that laptop entertainment experience. The new VAIO FZ laptop comes in multiple configurations which include a premium and standard model, the premium version laptops will have Blu-ray Disc high-definition content where you can enjoy movies in full 1080 HD resolution and you can even record, store and playback content on high-capacity BD media.

The Sony VAIO FZ series premium model will also feature specs including, XBRITE-HiColor™ technology, 15.4-inch widescreen display, less than six pounds in weight, HDMI and much more like Intel® Centrino® Duo processor and Sony’s high-resolution surround-sound thanks to original Sound Reality™ technology, LocationFree® software, integrated camera plus it has a built in microphone which is a great addition to laptops they all need it. They will come pre-installed with Windows Vista™ Home Premium.

802.11n wireless LAN and dedicated multimedia controls just above the keyboard make these Sony VAIO FZ Laptops a great new way to enjoy the laptoping world. The price is expected to be around the $2,000 and the FZ standard model will start at about $1,400. These laptops from Sony should be available around about mid-May 2007.
