I own a Ferrari and am well happy, ok only if it is a laptop at least we can have the same badge. Acer has recently launched their Acer Ferrari 1100 series. This is the latest addition to the Ferrari-branded F1 laptops offered by the PC manufacturer.

The cool features of these laptops are the carbon fiber casing in where they have claimed that it is super-durable as well as stylish, these Ferrari 1100 notebooks also feature AMD Turion 64 X2 dual-core mobile technology, 960MB of HyperMemory driving a 12.1-inch WXGA display with the cool Acer CrystalBrite technology, ATI Radeon X1250 integrated 3D graphics card and hard disks up to 250GB.

They have also claimed that they are brining digital media to life by saying they have compacted the design to include an optical drive - an integrated slot-loaded DVD SuperMulti DL but yet still highly portable.

These have new skins which are fiber which we said above and they also have the new “DASP” technology that is said to deliver 20% more protection and there is even Bio-Protection fingerprint solution for the other kind of protection users might need.

These laptops will also have Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate, Windows Vista Business and Windows Vista Home Premium preinstalled. If you like then you can buy one for £1499.
