Category: News, Samsung | May 15th, 2008

Samsung are a huge company already but it seems they want to boost sales and this is why Samsung are looking into entering the USA, but by entering the US will this help them? Samsung finally want to expand their laptop business in the states as well as the European country which at the moment is “Unnamed”.
This is the latest move after so many problems that the firm faced and if this pulls of it means a nice climb upwards for them, the only downside is say none of this works for them they can see major repercussions for the company. Sukyong Hong Samsung’s senior manager of overseas sales and marketing has said that the company needs to ship at least 11 million laptops in 2011 which basically means triple its current sales for the laptop division to remain “sustainable.”
Just thought we would give you the latest news, because at the end of the day the US may see some very cheap laptops indeed if this all works out for Samsung.
Do you think they are making the right or wrong decision?
