Sony VAIO VGN-NR160E laptop for the budget lover: $829 approx £410

This is quite funny really as I was going to review this Sony VAIO VGN-NR160E laptop but then I came across those over at Laptop Magazine and they have done what I was about to do, they have chosen this laptop as an Editors Choice Award laptop. Cheap Laptops have to agree whole heartedly and of course it is a winner.
The Sony VAIO VGN-NR160E which has a price tag of only $829 (approx £410) is amazing especially when you are getting a 15.4 inch WXGA display, 1GB of RAM, 1.5GHz Core 2 Duo processor and a cool 160GB 5,400 rpm SATA hard drive.
The battery power lasts approx 2 hours and 19 minutes which they quoted whilst the DVD rundown lasted a pretty impressive 3 hours and 41 minutes. Laptop Magazine said that they were disappointed in the lack of 802.11n capability. They gave this laptop a massive 4 ½ star rating which must say is on the ball, I would have giving it a 4 star as not really a Sony Vaio lover.
My personal views on the Sony VAIO VGN-NR160E laptop is very good indeed and great for those on a budget who do not wish to spend over $1000 (approx £495).

I really love the Sony Vaio range of laptops. But the are a little expensive so maybe you could lower them! I think the ideal price of a laptop that has that quality would be about 200-400 pounds.

how heavy is it? and how thin is it? i just want a laptop thats thin, light and cheap.
