The Sony Vaio TX Series Laptop

Category: Sony Vaio | December 19th, 2006

The Sony Vaio TX Series is the series that I personally like because they are very affordable with the specifications that should be worth more, yes you do get different specs on this series but I will give you a general idea of what you can get. The Sony Vaio TX series offer the ultra slim and yes ultra durable laptops or notebooks if you prefer to call them that.

The TX series offer you up to 7 hours battery life which is very good indeed considering most only give you 2 hours so that’s good in its self but then you get the display which is a Sony X black LCD widescreen which is very thin indeed, the casing is made of carbon fibre which means lightweight to carry around and of which means top styling as well plus is more much more rigid.

The standard specifications you will expect to see on the Sony Vaio TX Series laptop are for starters an Intel Centrino mobile technology Intel Core Solo process with ultra low voltage plus 80 GB hard disk drive and Microsoft XP professional with service pack 2.

You also get 1 GB DDR2-SDRAM which consists of 512 MB on board, 1 x 512 MB, maximum 1.5 GB DDR2-SDRAM and an 11.1 inch WXGA 1366 x 768 -black LCD with LED technology display, Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950 and Super slim Double layer DVD±RW drive and the a very cool feature which I personally like in the finger recognition sensor.

All in all this is a stunning laptop, as said above there are a couple of different specification on the Sony Vaio TX laptop.

  2. Yes super laptop shame that the DVD RW drive, a Matshita UJ-832D is impossible to make multiregion even using all the software hacks. Parts are a bit dear too - keyboard is £165-00 thats over US$300-00!
