A lesson in shotgun clumsiness can be leant from Lenovo’s launch of their ThinkPad T, SL, R, W and X-series. It all began with their 128GB SSD freebie, and after several mishaps ends with a Canadian $200.00 for their 14.1 inch ThinkPad R400, Eee PC killer.

Don’t go thinking this is just a simple typo though as the pricing issue is systemic because that baseline price increments as you add options right up to the checkout. Of course there is no guarantee Lenovo will actually honour your order, and it is more than likely they won’t. But it does seem a tad lax of Lenovo not to be applying some quality control over their website.
