Toshiba Dynabook Satellite T30 Laptop Introduced
Category: News | May 18th, 2007

The Toshiba Dynabook Satellite T30 laptop is expensive really for the specs; we would have to agree with Engadget on this one. The Toshiba Dynabook Satellite T30 comes in 2 different types with the better one having a clock speed of 1.66GHz; the processor is the Core 2 Duo T5500 so far so good. Intel’s 945GM Express chipset and 512MB of RAM seem not so bad and with a boring 80GB hard disk is not really pushing the boat out is it.
Now we go to the garbage bin, the other T30 you can get is with (BORED) the lower end 943GML Express chipset and Celeron M 520 processor with clock speed of 1.60GHz, other specs include the same 80GB hard drive and 512MB of RAM which you can upgrade too 2GB plus a 15.4-inch WXGA display and DVD/CD-RW drive.
These laptops are set for release in Japan first sometime in June for around about ¥171,150 and ¥197,400 ($1,410 to $1,630). So do you agree with Engadget that they are not much of a bargain given the specs?
